Remove the sausage from the pan and in its cooking fat sauté the sliced turnips along with the leaves. Adjust the salt and pepper moderately, then cover the pan and cook for about half an hour. If the Silverbeet turn out a bit watery at the end, remove the lid and let them dry out. Add the sausage and leave on the heat a few more minutes so that it all flavors well. |
