Steps

1
Done

Begin the preparation of sausage and Silverbeet by cutting the sausage into small pieces and placing them in a nonstick pan with the garlic clove, rosemary and no seasoning. Sauté until the sausage pieces are browned.

2
Done

Meanwhile, wash the Silverbeet with all the leaves and dry them. Remove the stems from the leaves, leaving them whole, and cut the turnips into medium-thick slices.

3
Done

Remove the sausage from the pan and in its cooking fat sauté the sliced turnips along with the leaves. Adjust the salt and pepper moderately, then cover the pan and cook for about half an hour. If the Silverbeet turn out a bit watery at the end, remove the lid and let them dry out. Add the sausage and leave on the heat a few more minutes so that it all flavors well.

4
Done

Arrange the pan-seared sausage and Silverbeet on a serving platter and top with an additional sprinkling of pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
